A quiet few days at my end but I've been doing some work on the blog and I think it's an improvement. It's quite amazing what can be done relatively simply once you start reading up, yet very difficult to stop "tweaking" once you have started!
The subject of over-tweaking is a fascinating one if you have ever looked at modelling sporting events and I won't go into too much detail now as it will be the subject of a future post but suffice to say I may be guilty of over-fitting my football model for testing purposes.
There are now 4 separate versions of 18 different football systems on test and I'm starting to lose track of everything! I have controls systems for control systems... value filter for the value filtered selections etc etc etc... it's getting pretty deep!
Come Friday though I'll have some more time and some more selections for you for both Friday and over the weekend.
